Out in the wild we create a magical space of yoga, play, and wonder, guided by the earth itself.

Step into the magic of the sea with ocean-inspired yoga poses. Stretching like dolphins, flowing like seaweed, and standing strong like a light house. Children discover how the ocean can be both calm and powerful, just like them. To close, they decorate a smooth treasure stone, a keepsake infused with ocean magic to remind them of water’s calm and creative spirit.
Mantra: “Like the ocean, I can be calm and strong.”

Step into super power training! Kids practice warrior stances, calming breaths, and "pause powers.” To steady themselves when big feeling rise every child chooses a crystal to take home - a reminder of their courage and inner strength.
Mantra: “My power is inside me.”

In this class, kids become potion makers, mixing simple essential oils into rollers they can use anytime. They will create one or two blends for calm, courage, focus, or sweet dreams - learning how scent can shift their mood and support their feelings. Each child takes home their own special roller, a little tool they made themselves to feels strong and balanced.
Mantra: “I made this to help myself feel the way I need.”

Gather flowers leaves and natural treasures from Santa Barbara’s land and sea to create altars and art that celebrate the beauty around us. A practice of patience, creativity, and gratitude.
Mantra: “I am connected to the Earth.”

Breath Play is where children discover that their breath can be both powerful and fun. Using breathing balls that open and close like lungs kids see how calm slow breathing feels different from quick “panic breaths.” From there, they explore playful ways to use breath for focus, energy (lion’s breath), and calm - turning something they do everyday into their very own super power.
Mantra: “My breath is my super power.”

In this adventure, kids team up for yoga poses that spark laughter connection, and courage. From favorites like Lizard on a Rock to other creative shapes, children discover how to support one another, build trust and grow stronger together. With the help of magical kinetic flow bands, they also learn how it feels to be connected - moving in sync with friends and finding strength in partnership.
Mantra: “Together we are strong.”
ZenDen For Kids
Enter a luminous world of imagination where laughter, ritual, and calm weave together.

Under the shimmer of galaxy lights, kids flow through yoga games and gentle stretches that feel like moving among the stars. They end with glow squishies to rest in their own “Universe of calm”
Mantra: “I carry starlight inside me.”

Using breathing balls, feathers, and fun props children experiment with breath like scientists of the body. They learn how slow belly breaths feel different from fast and “panic breaths,” and how their breath can be used to calm, energize, or focus.

With magical flow bands and partner yoga poses, kids learn how to connect, support, and move in harmony with one another. Laughter and trust grow side by side as they explore the joy of moving together.

Children play with chimes, rain-sticks, and drums, noticing how sound can be both energizing and deeply calming. They discover how music and vibration help them reset and rest inside.

In this class, children explore yoga poses that build strength, balance, and focus. They learn that yoga is more than movement - it’s a life skill that helps them feel steady and confident. Starting young gives them tools they can carry into every stage of life.

Training and Techniques
Our courses equip you with tools and techniques that turn everyday challenges into opportunities for children to build confidence, connection, and inner calm.

When many of us hear the word calm, we picture silence; a child sitting still, hands folded, not moving or making a sound. But calm isn’t always quiet. For some children, calm may look like lying down and breathing slowly. For others, it may look like steady drumming, loud singing or even stomping rhythmically on the floor. These activities might seem noisy on the outside, but the actually help children feel centered and balanced inside.

Every child deserves a safe place they can return to when their emotions feel too big. A ZenDen is more than just a corner in a room - it s a magical space where children learn to self regulate, connect with their inner calm and reset before rejoining the world around them. In this course you’ll learn the five essential elements needed to create a simple, effective ZenDen in your classroom or home.
Mantra - “The calm I seek is already inside me.”

Children naturally process their emotions through movement, and movement can also be a powerful pathway to strength. In this course, you’ll learn simple age appropriate yoga sequences designed to strengthen both mind and body while teaching kids that all emotions are welcome. Through playful flows - like “mad cat, happy cat” - children discover how to notice their feelings, move through them, and even create their own empowering sequences.
Mantra: “When I move I feel strong and steady inside.”

In this course, you will learn how to help children craft their own essential oil roller using one or two simple blends. Each child chooses a purpose - like calm, focus, Brave, Happy, Sweet dreams - and makes a personal roller they can apply on their own. These little “potions” give kids something tangible to roll on when they need comfort, energy, courage, or rest. Along the way, they learn that nature offers powerful ways to support their feelings and wellbeing.
Mantra - “I made this to help myself. I can take care of my feelings.”
About Greta
Greta Krieger is dedicated to inspiring a new generation of yogis. She is a graduate of the Loyola Marymount University Healing Science and Yoga Teaching Program. She is the founder of Golden Mind Yoga and currently teaches in the Santa Barbara and Goleta Unified School Districts.
Greta's motivation to open GoldenMind Yoga Studio was to promote healthy habits of Self Love in youth. Her mission is to teach in a playful environment where kids can feel safe to be themselves. She helps children hear a beautiful soundtrack of their inner voices to encourage self love, self worth, and self respect.
In her 25 year career as a Film Makeup artist, Greta realized that even the world's most so-called beautiful movie stars dealt with crippling self doubt and unacceptance of themselves. She saw that no amount of makeup could make them feel beautiful. She realized that our inner landscape shapes our outer appearance, and discovered the secret to true beauty and self love. Committed to a new daily practice Greta changed the record that played in her own head and, as a yoga instructor, teaches kids to do the same.
Calm is not the absence of noise, but the presence of inner balance.
